Working in my father’s coffee shop at the Minneapolis Farmers Market has taught me direct marketing since I was 16 years old. And, growing up with a Mother who sold radio air time meant we never listened to the music, she only cranked the commercials. I’ve been conditioned to pay attention to what works, and what doesn’t.
My career has been built by working for the client side. I know how to maintain relationships, communicate effectively, and deliver ROI reports. I’ve reported to CEOs and Board of Directors. I am a self starter that knows the definition of responsibility and efficiency. I am a listener to client needs, and have written RFPs to ensure outlined proposals meet company goals within the target budget. I’ve worked to minimize risk, and increase conversion rates.
A key element in the equation of how profitable a company can be is efficiency. I’ve worked to find appropriate technologies and office systems for e-commerce based small businesses to aid in streamlining work flows. There are only 24 hours in the day, and typically only eight where your employees report to the office. Source the busy work, remove its responsibility by the inclusion of software. One can only know how to become better, if they possess the knowledge of its existence. I make that happen. Research the goals and make a plan. Take action.
